PT. Adi Jaya Teknik is a company engaged in the manufacturing of various types of products. One of the products is the filter tank. Filter Tank is a pressurized filter tank made of mild steel material and can be filled with various filter media. This Water Filter Tank has been epoxy coated and painted blue and has 2 manholes, at the top of the tank and on the side of the tank. Inside the Filter Tank there are Top Strainers and Bottom Strainers and are equipped with a series of process connection pipes, pressure gauges, safety valves and ball valves. Water Filter Pressure Tank is generally used for Sand Filter Tanks and Carbon Filter Tanks on commercial and industrial scale. The Sand Filter Tank is filled with silica sand filter media while the Carbon Filter Tank is filled with activated carbon filter media.
The function of the sand filter tank is to filter out the dirt particles contained in the water, in the sand filtering process, the colloidal material will be retained, namely in the form of a gelatin layer, while the ions that dissolve in the water will be neutralized by sand ions (some of the sand particles also undergoes ionization in the filter) thus the properties of the water will change due to the neutralization.
